The Van Helsing Conjecture – Excerpt No. 316

“Have you ever encountered other people?” Julia asked.

“Only residents of The Tower.”

Even that was a rare sight. Those like her who pushed the boundaries of orthodoxy were rare. Were rank and file hunters always like those we encountered during the evening meal?

That was a question that Clara did not wish to answer. Alas, the more she learned the more she realised her mind formed an idealistic version of this place… and those within.

A serene and majestic photograph of a grand, opulent hall featuring sweeping circular staircases with intricately carved white marble balustrades, adorned with warm, golden brass accents that glimmer softly in the gentle, ethereal light. The atmosphere is idyllic, peaceful, and heavenly, with not a single imperfection to be found, evoking a sense of divine presence. In this tranquil setting, a group of nuns and monks in traditional, elegant habits, with gentle, kind faces, soft, creamy complexions, and eyes filled with compassion, move about with quiet reverence, their quiet footsteps echoing softly off the marble floors. The soft, warm light bathes everything in a sense of serenity, adding depth and dimension to the scene, while the subtle shadows create a sense of intimacy and mystery, inviting the viewer to step into this heavenly realm.
