One look from Marc told the elder vampire everything he needed to know. This was an escalation with Marc’s supernatural war. They prepared soldiers to hunt ghouls and vampires, and Drusilla responded by ambushing these specialized teams.

Six months ago, Marc considered the concept to be too risky. Tonight, the man of war realized that he could not be everywhere at once.

“I can do what I wish with them?” Marc asked.
