Grace watched the brain matter splatter on the other side of the sports car. Since he was in manual mode the car veered hard to the right, flew off the shoulder and slammed into the ground on the other side of the ditch. It rolled over several times, and came to stop on its crushed roof. 

Meanwhile she had been slowing down, and pulled up gently into the shoulder before coming to a stop. 

She tapped on the main screen of her navigation system and confirmed that the jammer was running. The only reason she had been toying with him was to remain in range. That isolated his car from the network, meaning it would take hours to find the wreck and the man within.

A dark luxury sports car sits crashed against a mangled metal guardrail along a desolate highway. The scene is shrouded in heavy orange dust or fog, creating a moody, monochromatic atmosphere framed by a white vintage photo border.
