Man of War – Excerpt No. 363

“At least he’s pretty…” Susanna said to throw off her opponent.

The woman wearing the white robe approached him, and Susanna backed away instinctively. There was raw, animal magnetism to this creature, the veritable embodiment of a Roman goddess.

He sensed that Drusilla was humming for more than entertainment. The longer he faced this Roman beauty, the more she became the focus of his world. That remained true until an opposing force lifted the veil over his head.

I’m here for you,” Susanna said.

A young lord dressed in formal clothing being approached by a blonde wearing a white ritualistic gown. There was raw, animal magnetism to the woman, the veritable embodiment of a Roman goddess. The sensed that the woman was humming for more than entertainment. Located in a dark cave lit by torches, with a stone altar, and a large well filled with blood.  Scene and clothing appropriate for the 16th Century France.
