Man of War – Excerpt No. 373

“Say yes,” Susanna pleaded.

The woman in white shook her head while uttering the same two words… Is she crying?

Dites non,” the woman in white mouthed.

Yes!” Susanna exclaimed.

Dites non!” the woman in white repeated.

Please,” Susanna pleaded.

Non. Non! NON!” the woman in white pleaded.

Do this for me!”

“Yes,” Marc whispered.

Black haired gentleman wearing formal clothing, kneeling by a well of blood. One his left a dark haired and black eyed woman of first nations descent, wearing a white gown, is begging him to say no. On his right a brown haired woman of Spanish descent in a gown pleads for him to say yes. Located in a dark cave lit by torches, with a stone altar, and a large well filled with blood.  Scene appropriate for the 16th Century France.
