Starting Point – Excerpt No. 4

When it came to playing Cat and Mouse, Julia had major hangups about being the latter. Although, she would have grudgingly agreed to being the cat. Still, if the moon had been full, this would have been a whole new game.

To play the mouse, she needed to get noticed. Julia crested over a hill, her silhouette outlined by the cloudy sky behind her. They spotted her, and she made a break for the main road. Come at me!
