The Lady in White – Excerpt No. 8

Julia watched those beautiful blue eyes fade out in the distance. While her mother supported the relationship, she preferred to keep things on the down low. It saves me from being pressed for details.

The wind picked up and sent a blast of cold air up her dress. She was on a natural high from their time together, so Mother Nature would need to do better than that to get a reaction. She let out a dreamy sigh and headed down the lane leading to their home. How am I so lucky?
