The Van Helsing Conjecture – Excerpt No. 282

“I was there when she took out a pack of werewolves single handedly.”

The time where Clara enlisted Julia’s help to save her friend’s life.

“I was there when she used herself as bait to hunt down Artemis,” Julia added.

“Gods do not exist,” Silky said.

“Goddess… the tits are a dead giveaway on the correct term to use. You know, for someone who claims to know corpses, you have a narrow mind.”

That was a line Clara used on Julia when the werewolf insisted that ghosts did not exist.

a moody, high-contrast cinematic photograph of a brunette woman with porcelain skin, angular facial features, and piercing emerald-green eyes, wearing a black tactical vest with silver accents, and majestic black feathered wings sprouting from her back, standing fearless and proud, facing off against a pack of snarling, slavering werewolves with razor-sharp claws and teeth, in the dimly lit, decrepit, and abandoned mining complex, with walls covered in cobwebs, old rusty mining equipment, and debris, against the faint warm glow of dawn, casting long ominous shadows across the room, in a tense, dramatic, and suspenseful moment, captured in a wide-angle shot, with a shallow focus, and a subtle film grain.
