The Van Helsing Conjecture – Excerpt No. 48

“Look on the bright side,” Evelyn said to snap Clara back into reality. 

“What’s that?” Clara asked. 

“I can’t get you pregnant,” Evelyn said before stepping into the shower, getting onto the tips of her toes, and kissing Clara on the cheek. 

“What—Oh—Right.”

Clara kissed Evelyn back and hugged her. She sensed that the vampire was wound tight and realised that the blood of a goddess might be more potent than the vampire was accustomed too. 

She pulled back, and Evelyn immediately relaxed. After a few minutes, those fangs retracted and she flashed her trademark smile.

19 year old Female vampire with black hair of French descent with emerald green eyes. Wearing a dress fitting to a fashion model and a body to match. Strained smile, as though hunger is keeping them distracted.
