The Van Helsing Impetus – Excerpt No. 157

Bolts of blue energy shot out from both the angel and Sparky. The difference was that hers was more vibrant and powerful. Their beams met nearer to Clara, but the balance shifted in her favour, overtaking the goddess’ beam.

Three sets of eyes widened, but those that belonged to Sparky shut as she transitioned to a cringe. That bolt meant death and was powerless to stop it.

Clara stopped her attack while simultaneously sidestepping the focal point. What remained of Sparky’s attack hit the back wall, and barely singed the paint.

“You need a bit more pep?” Clara taunted.
