The Van Helsing Impetus – Excerpt No. 93

It was obvious that Evelyn knew how to sew, there was a room befitting a master tailor in their current home. This dress was low cut to the centre of her back, and cut in a V at the front from stopped above her belly button. The sides were open entirely, so the dress was held up by two straps. Clara would be entirely on display.

“The old tricks are sometimes the best tricks,” Clara said.

She stripped to nothing, and put on more appropriate underwear. It matched in colour and the fabrics would not work against one another. There would be no bra, but amongst her things she found a roll of two-sided tape. It did not take much for her to realise what it would be used for. The things a gal has to do for beauty.
