Man of War – Excerpt No. 172

“It’s…” Marc began.

His eyes flowed over the pale skin of her legs, arms and shoulders and marvelled at her beauty. There was a scent permeating the air, although he was not certain if she was the source or the flowers. Is that lavender?

“…facing the wrong way. They built the fortification to defend from us taking this town,” Marc finished.

Émilie cocked her head to the side, pursed her lips, and looked up at the ceiling. He was not sure why, but there was something alluring about that pose.

His eyes flowed over the blonde's pale skin of her legs, arms and shoulders and marvelled at her beauty. There was a scent permeating the air, although he was not certain if she was the source or the flowers. Located in a simple bedroom. Clothes and scene appropriate to the 16th Century France.
