The Van Helsing Conjecture – Excerpt No. 103

Evelyn picked out a bite from her plate using her fork and held it out for him. Without a sound Marc leaned forward and enveloped the food with his lips before pulling back.

The fork was clean when he was done. Chewing slowly, as most at the table were doing, he let the flavours join in a dance. However, instead of swallowing he walked silently into the kitchen to spit out the food and rinse out his mouth… Evelyn says he reacts poorly to eating food

“My sire cannot eat food,” Evelyn clarified. “He did wish to thank tonight’s hostess for giving him a taste of home.

”While not planned, it seemed that Clara made Marc’s day… At least no one has drawn blood yet

A young woman of French descent with black hair and green eyes picks out a bite from her plate using her fork and holds it out for a man. The man is dark haired, tanned, brown eyes, built, moves in to take a bite, wears a dated black suit and tie. Located in a lavish club.
