The Van Helsing Conjecture – Excerpt No. 131

“You’re getting too good at reading me,” Clara teased.

“I’ve been at this for over a millennia,” Eleanor replied.

“I really need to start hanging around with the crowd,” Clara said.

Photo-realistic image of multiple instances of first nations woman in an immaculate plain white flowing gown, black hair, black eyes, and tanned skin standing over the bodies of soldiers who fell in a battle. Scene reminiscent of a WWI battlefield, cold, wet, and muddy.
