Hunter gates were normally concealed behind another doorway. Crypt doors were popular when the portal was located in a cemetery… The idea was to select something that people overlooked and rarely used

She remembered hearing the story of a couple living in a house for twenty years only to discover a door opened up into a room under their front lawn. A dramatic, high-contrast, cinematic photograph of a middle-aged couple, dressed in worn, earth-toned clothing, with weathered skin and gentle, inquisitive facial expressions, standing in a dimly lit, cluttered, and dusty area of their home, surrounded by old furniture and forgotten trinkets, as they grasp an old, ornate door handle, and slowly push open a creaky, worn wooden door, revealing a shimmering, ethereal portal to another world, with vibrant, swirling colors and soft, pulsing light, beckoning them to step forward, with the warm glow of the portal casting an otherworldly illumination on their faces, illuminating their curiosity and wonder.
