“Consider this my electric cure,” Clara said.

Julia’s had enough,” Silver, the dominant persona of the Hecate three, said.

All that was left when Clara stopped her attack was a mound of smouldering ashes. She took a deep breath to find her centre and spotted the troubled werewolf. Realising the effect that her cruelty had on the other, she approached with an outstretched hand.

“I’m sorry…” Clara said. “It had to be done.”

Julia finally shirked away as though the soft touch of an open hand would burn her hand. In that moment Julia must have understood just what ‘all in’ entailed.

Photo-realistic image of a brunette in her thirties with large black wings wearing hiking clothes. She is standing thirty paces away from a body-sized pile of smoldering ashes, with no flames, glowing red, her eyes still glowing blue. Located deep in winter woods at night with the full moon hanging over the air.
