“I felt myself being separated from them before waking up in the first reality,” Clara said.

“Miss them?” Julia asked.

Clara went to say something and paused, leaving her mouth agape. Her eyes rolled towards the sky while her teeth were slowly reunited.

“Complicated?” Julia confirmed.

“Yeah,” Clara said. “I’ve learned to get along with Hecate, but it’s nice to feel more like myself.”
